This was the last of the batch of lyrics, written after I thought I had finished and was waiting around for the ferry home. Went out onto the harbourside and there it was.

Last in First Out

Then when it came to writing the music I went for an ambitious chord progression with key changes that took far too long to learn to play really, but eventually I managed to refine it so that it works as a solo acoustic song performed live or recorded under lockdown conditions but one day I'd still like to give it the full treatment with lead electric guitar, percussion and extra vocals. There are only one of two tracks which will get that though, "Sound Affects" might be another, but the intention was always to make a solo acoustic album, because some of my own favourite albums that I like to listen to are like that.

Full moon setting now the stars are shining brighter
later we'll see the Milky way
Stop walking the the streets pull up the blinds
