Hold on below, I'm coming down Wind up the sluices I'm going to drown Open up the hatches I'm on my way down They've covered up the beauty and the meaning can't be found There's creases in the picture distortion in the sound Hold on below I'm on my way down Your pictures are all empty there's nothing left to draw your face it is all faded and you're smaller than before You walk on your children they won't take it any more You move to close the window as we are walking out the door Hold on below I am coming down Wind up the sluices I'm going to drown Open up the hatches I'm on my way down, down down down. The mountains all around me are getting louder every day, They shout down upon me though there's nothing left to say and they crowd all around me so I can't get away The grass is all brown and the sky is turning grey Holdall below et cetera So clear out the gangway I am coming down below, I'm making my way down for there's nowhere else to go And there's another lot behind me yes there's row upon row And they all want to leave, sit back and watch us go Hold on below, I'm coming down Wind up the sluices I'm going to drown Open up the hatches I'm on my way down They've covered up the beauty and the meaning can't be found There's creases in the picture distortion in the sound Hold on below I'm on my way down

She makes me feel so small, by saying nothing at all And it's all been done before, and it's all been sung before...

There are no lyrics because the Biggleswade Stomp is an instumental piece composed for no voices or singing, just a sole guitar or possibly an added recorder or violin.

Lyrics to Puddles Puddles of seaweed, left on the beach Pieces of driftwood floating just out of reach The insects came down as the people went up, And they crawled in and out of an old plastic cup They left behind in the mind of a traveller Stood by the water alone Left in a world of his own The tide came in , he didn't care The sun went out but he was there Then the insects flew up as the people came back And they shouted and screamed and waved an old plastic mac in the air, but did he care, no not the traveller He was stood on a rock of his own Left by the water alone.

Sitting on the bank of a river Me and a bottle of wine Happy to the sound of the water but I know I'm just wasting time So help me along, sing me a song, I'm gonna get my feet wet but I know I can't stay Anything will do just a verse or two and I'll sing you one back some day I've come to the end of the bottle Got no reason to delay I'll watch it float down that river Then I'll be on my way So help me along.... Well I'm still sitting by that river But now it's in the light of the moon I know I shouldn't really still be here I'll get going after one more tune So help me along, sing me a song, I'm gonna get my feet wet but I know I can't stay Anything will do just a verse or two and I'll see you all back some day

Look at the beach man, stood by the water Taking his poise again Playing a part from the shallows of his heart Grounded with all who tried the same. And the audience yawns they've seen it all before But they don't know wher to complain The show carries on with the audience long gone The actors have all gone insane I tried to tell them all About the empty stalls They said "Great, keep it up" You see the curtain never falls And the show goes on and on and on and on and on and on Look at the lady walking down the street She looks at you like any other And glances around to make sure that you're still looking You can look at her, you don't stand a chance And the audience yawns they've seen it all before But they don't know wher to complain The show carries on with the audience long gone The actors have all gone insane

Narrowboats 01:47
No lyrics, just musical impressions of narrowboats navigating through the peaceful canal systems.

Have you seen the man in the black suit as he is polishing his boot, he knows where he's going
